Doppel is a single app that does one thing: let you run a second copy of most installed apps, signed into a different account, with its own data and notifications.

Phones added great multi-window features over the last decade, but the multi-account story never caught up. Work profiles got close — they only ever shipped properly on a handful of devices and they're scoped to enterprise. Most people don't have a single phone for one identity; they juggle a personal WhatsApp and a work WhatsApp, a public Instagram and a finsta, two Steam accounts, three Telegrams. We built Doppel because the official solutions stopped iterating and the third-party space was either old, sketchy, or both.

What's distinct about Doppel:

• Each instance is a real, separate copy of the app — not a screen overlay. Files, caches, and notifications are kept fully separate.
• There's nothing to root, patch, or tinker with. It's an ordinary Play Store install.

We're a small team. We don't run a sales department, we don't sell user data, and we don't accept ads inside the instances you create. The free tier shows AdMob ads on our screens; everything inside your instances stays untouched.
