Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Doppel. By creating an account or installing the Doppel Android app, you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

Doppel is an Android application, operated by Innoventis Infotech, that creates isolated containers ("instances") of installed apps so that you can run multiple signed-in copies of the same app on one device. References to "Doppel", "we", or "us" in these terms mean Innoventis Infotech. Some features (Secret Zone, unlimited instances) are available only on the paid (Lifetime) tier.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Doppel account. If you're between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you affirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We don't knowingly accept accounts from anyone under 16.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password (or third-party sign-in) secure.
• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including purchases.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@innoventisinfotech.com immediately and we'll help you regain control.

4. License we grant you

Doppel grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Doppel app on Android devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. The license is automatically revoked if you stop complying with these terms.

5. License we do NOT grant

• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, except where applicable law (e.g. EU directive 2009/24/EC for interoperability) explicitly permits it.
• You may not redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or commercially exploit the Doppel app.
• You may not use Doppel to circumvent license terms of other apps, distribute malware, automate abuse, or do anything illegal.

6. The underlying apps belong to their owners

Doppel creates an environment that allows another app to run inside a container. Doppel does not modify, redistribute, or grant any license to the apps you choose to add. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of every app you add — including any terms that prohibit running multiple instances, automation, or use on virtualized environments.

Some apps explicitly forbid running as a second instance. We maintain a denylist of apps that have asked to be excluded or that pose disproportionate security risk in a virtualized environment. If you try to add a denied app, you'll see a clear in-app message.

7. Payments and billing

• Doppel offers a Free tier and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payments are processed through Google Play Billing. Doppel does not handle your payment method.
• The Lifetime purchase is a single, one-time payment — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• Doppel does not offer a free trial.
• Prices may change. A price change never affects a Lifetime entitlement you have already purchased.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. We'll co-operate with legitimate refund requests — if Google Play declines and you believe the decision is wrong, write to support@innoventisinfotech.com.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Doppel for any illegal purpose.
• Use Doppel to harass, defraud, impersonate, or harm other users of the underlying apps.
• Attempt to break, attack, or disrupt the Doppel service or any other user's account.
• Use Doppel to violate sanctions, export-control laws, or applicable trade restrictions.
• Use Doppel to operate a commercial multi-tenant service on top of the instances.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you're violating these rules.

10. Intellectual property

Doppel, including the app, the website, the brand name, and all related materials, is our property and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

11. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.

12. Third-party services

Doppel integrates with services run by third parties (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, Resend). Their terms govern your use of those services to the extent applicable. We pick partners carefully but we're not responsible for outages or policy decisions on their end.

13. Disclaimers

Doppel is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't guarantee that every app will work correctly inside an instance. The Android ecosystem evolves and individual apps regularly introduce changes that break virtualized execution. When that happens, we work to restore compatibility on a best-effort basis.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doppel's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the Doppel service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Doppel service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US $50. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited — for example, for fraud or gross negligence.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Doppel harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of (a) your use of Doppel, (b) your violation of these terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right (including the terms of service of an app you added as an instance).

16. Termination

You can stop using Doppel at any time. You can delete your account from inside the app or by writing to support@innoventisinfotech.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if we're required to by law, or if continuing to provide service to you poses a security risk. Where practical we'll give you notice and a chance to cure.

17. Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top is always the most recent. If we make a change that meaningfully affects your rights, we'll surface a notice inside the Doppel app. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Gujarat, India. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, this section doesn't deprive you of consumer protections that you can't waive by contract.

19. Miscellaneous

• Severability — if any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• No waiver — if we don't enforce a part of these terms once, we don't give up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment — you can't assign these terms without our written consent. We can assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Entire agreement — these terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Doppel.
